Overview: Luna Park committed to a $30 million overhaul to upgrade the 85 year old theme park, which was the biggest revamp since it reopened in 2024. Having to demolish some existing rides to make way for the 9 new rides.
The project was completed in 2 stages, 8 of the rides were installed in the first stage and the final and biggest ride was delivered in the second stage.
Scope: Excel successfully completed the Civil Works as part of the Luna Park Upgrade for Lipman. The scope included clearing and stripping of asphalt across the site, detail excavation of pad footings, strip footings, pile caps and slab on ground prep, the excavation of all service trenches, installation of piles, FRP pad footings and strip footings as well as the demolition of redundant stairs, walls and queueing areas.
