Overview: In 2021, Nepean Private Hospital announced the long-awaited Stage 1 redevelopment and expansion. The expansions included a new new three storey facility, featuring four additional operating theatres, a pre-admission area, car parking, internal refurbishment and 17 new specialist consulting suites.
Scope: Excel was engaged by HPAC to complete the Demolition, Earthworks and External Works portion of the upgrade. The works began with removing the existing asphalt carpark and concrete footpaths, stripping the turfed and landscaped areas. Followed by the earthworks including bulk excavation and detail excavation. Filling where required and installing subsoil drainage around the retaining walls. Finishing off with the external works for a new carpark and public domain works around the new and existing hospital.
